My services include Weekly Meal Service, Catering (for parties of all sizes), Kids Cooking Classes, Kids Birthday Parties, Adult Cooking Parties, Personal Menu Planning and Corporate Meal Consulting
Weekly Meal Service
Each service consists of 3 to 5 entrees with side dishes and something I call an EXTRA. It could be rich brownies for you and your little ones or a smoothie set up or lots of other imaginative things.
All entrees are prepared the day of your service and stored appropriately in your refrigerator or freezer.
Meals that would typically take an hour to prepare can now be enjoyed in minutes. Of course I will be glad to do any variations of my services. For example I would cook at your home once in 3 days instead of 5, etc.
Once you start your service, I'll create a menu based on your specifications. It will change weekly and you can approve it via phone or email.
One of the reasons my service differs from others is that I shop for produce and meats only in Whole Foods, Berkeley Bowl, Market Hall or specialty markets.Catering

I have been using a wonderful personal chef for over a year. Her name is Ellen
Doren. Her business is Chez Ellen and she does catering as well as meal preparation. For her personal chef service, she will meet with you to discuss your dietary needs and likes and dislikes. Then she prepares menus for your approval. She comes to your home and prepares the meals at whatever interval you work out -- for us she comes every other week and makes 6 meals, three for the fridge and three for the freezer. We started using Ellen when I was 6 months pregnant and my husband tore his Achilles tendon so we were a pretty low-functioning pair. But we continue to use her because with two kids and two working parents, getting a meal on the table every day is no easy task!

Our guests were incredibly impressed, and there were hard to impress people there, including gourmet cooks and even one
restaurant critic.
